Angela Gossow Urach

Angela Gossow grew up in Cologne along with her three siblings. When she was 17, her parents separated. Her parents' business also failed, adding to her financial woes. Anorexia, bulimia and other mental disorders added to the difficulties. Gossow's explanation of her decision to stop performing as the vocalist of ARCH ENEMY was a simple one: There is a proper and incorrect timing for all things. Originally, the leader of this group was Johan Liiva. She was later replaced in 2000 by German singer Angela Gossow. Alissa is an ex-founding member and lead vocalist with the Canadian metalcore group The Agonist. Arch Enemy each has their chapters that are renowned due to diverse reasons.
