Katherine Jean Bolduan known by the name Kate Bolduan in her profession is a journalist of American heritage. She is best known as the anchor of the CNN morning program At This Hour. Bolduan was previously co-anchoring CNN morning programs New Day, and The Situation Room. Bolduan was a key part of CNN's award-winning coverage of the presidential elections in 2012 and 2016. She also spent time as a reporter in Washington DC as a correspondent for the US House, and US Senate. Bolduan was an active Capitol Hill Unit member when she covered the congressional cycle which included events like discussions to raise the limit of federal credit as well as the debates of the super committee. Bolduan has worked as an associate reporter on general assignments. She covered such reports such as Christmas Day 2009 bombing attempt and the Supreme Court's landmark decision regarding Obamacare. Bolduan also reported on the introduction of stimulus programs in 2009. Her first assignment was with CNN Newsource in 2007.
